I have thought about this before but I'm not sure what the best UX would be. Should it kick in after a timer? Or some button combination?
I also thought about creating a screensaver that highlights media in a fun way as well.

Paul Dhaliwal If I may give feedback on this idea, imho this is just a gimmick that adds flair to the homescreen and nothing else. There's no actual real use scenario: No user will ever intentionally pick a row, stop pressing buttons and stare at the screen waiting for a timer to run, so that specific row starts carouseling. There's too many counters to it: what if I'm interested on a currently shown media, begin reading it's description you know, looking at the fanart then bam!, the carousel spins to the next item. Or if I'm interested on the 5th item in the carousel, should I just stare at the screen waiting for it to arrive? While I have a controller in my hand that lets me choose what I want.
On the other hand, It's annoying to have a menu move around by itself, while you wanna focus on a specific item. This whole thing also conflicts with the concept of a systemwide screensaver.
This concept of carouseling media was invented by streaming services with the sole purpose of throwing images at your eyes to catch your attention and press "buy". (which is the opposite of what Dispatch claims to be).
Sorry for the extremely long post tho!

Not for v1, but something I will definitely look into down the road.
