The other user is right that this is actually a bug with the Plex app, not Dispatch. If you ask Plex to directly play a piece of media on Android TV via a deep link, which is how both Dispatch and the default launcher work, the Plex app sometimes fails to report playback progress to the server. This bug has been around for years, unfortunately.
Using the info button in Dispatch to go to the info page in Plex is a workaround, as the other use said.

This happens to me sometimes too, but also happens on the default android tv launcher, so I think it's a plex app bug. My workaround is to view details then hit play.
