Any device running dispatch doesn't show up in the casting list on phones unless you open the cast settings in the system settings menu. Seems something just needs to keep running in the background to fix this issue

I'm also having trouble with casting since installing Dispatch (I went down the 'advanced' set-up path - and am wondering if the stopping of some of the services is the reason?)
My particular use case is casting from Emby on my phone to a Google TV streamer.
Emby can see the device is the Cast 'picker', but selecting the streamer entry results in no cast session starting.

Which devices do you use? I can cast fine from my shield, chromecasts, and bravia tv.

It's shield mainly with one chromecast but since you have said this leaves me to think maybe it's either when I debloated or just in need for a fresh wipe as I've had them for years and never reset it. It does seem to be when I'm using dispatch but it definitely doesn't mean that its dispatch as I have a multitude of apps that could be clashing with it. Will go back to problem solving thanks for a reply maybe I should have asked on the SubReddit first. 🙏
