Playback initiated from Dispatch Home isn't visible in Plex
Starting playback from the Dispatch Home isn’t showing up as an active session in Plex and results in the content remaining unwatched after completion. I also have the Default Play Action set to “Go to info page” but it doesn’t seem to be working from the Dispatch Home. I’m running the v1.0.19 beta version.

unable to update to the current beta
on a google streamer 4k, I’ve noticed I’m not being served the latest beta, is there any known reason to why I wouldn’t be? My current version is 1.0.182 with the current beta being 1.0.19 (i am in the beta program and have gotten betas before)

Updating to current version
Usijgn google streamer 4k and not sure how to update to the current version. No updated version appears in Google play store. Currently it says s its at 1.0.75 and want to update to 1.0.19

Pricing transparency
Hi, I just learned about this app from a friend and I was looking for pricing/t&cs on the play store entry & website & anywhere prior to trial sign-up page. I couldn’t find anything. If my friend hadn’t told me about the pricing structure, I wouldn’t have signed up - there are some apps that hide this info then charge you for 12+ months at the end of the trial. I would be more confident as a new user if it were transparent. The trial and pricing are extremely reasonable and I appreciate it a lot! Can you please include pricing details on the website or prior to signing up for a trial so a new user knows what they are signing up for/the terms of the trial?

Plex Collections are not loading
When looking at my collections in Plex they show the number of items in the collection and artwork for the collection but I cannot see any posters for the movies within the collection. This is incredibly annoying since my custom collections are my go to for browsing. I have not been able to find any way to correct this issue.

Google ChromeCast on the beta I believe. Grey screen with a count #1-#66 of elements that aren’t rendering, like widgets. Unable to progress anywhere on dispatch. It gives three options to open device setting, enable logging, or quit dispatch. Non of the three options are selectable on the splash page.

App Peek and Refresh All Media Button Do Not Work
My app peek isn't working specifically for Plex only. It just sits on trying to load and does nothing. This is on a Google streamer device. Same device in another room does not do this and loads perfect. Because of this I also realized the refresh all media button isn't doing anything. I tried using it in case it may help app peek but realized it doesn't even refresh my media as nothing new loaded.

Youtube keeps asking who's watching and no google home support...
There's a really annoying thing happening where Youtube keeps asking who's watching and there's no way to turn it off.. It shows just my profile and a kids one that I never set up not having kids myself. If you pause a video for a time, and the screensaver comes on, Youtube will ask who's watching when resuming thus closing the video you had on… It's stupid. And lets not forget google home. That is a must considering that most of the people tech savvy enough to change their tv's launcher already have smart home devices. App peek doesn't work with Plex of all things.. My device is a 2025 TCL tv with Android/Google TV

Experimental video player subtitles issues
When playing a tv show episode from the menu (normal routine, open show, play/resume episode) the subtitle gets correctly applied (same one as in plex) but when binge watching one episode after another, when the second episode begins it shows subtitles disabled and no subtitles appear, trying to enable them from the video works but shows no subtitle selected even if you try changing/selecting one. The only work around so far is exiting the episode to the episodes view and press resume, after this subtitles still stay disabled/it says no subtitle is selected but now you can enable and select which subtitle you want and it gets correctly applied

The video stream should continue playing (like SmartTube) or pause (like most other streaming apps). Continued playback is my preference, but I can see how that might be more difficult to implement. Longer-term, if possible, it would be nice if the video player appeared in the recent apps menu on Android versions that support this. That way, we can navigate between video playback in Dispatch and any other app with ease.

Plex "Smart Collection" from "Movies" tab doesn't load movies
When I navigate to a Plex "Smart Collection" from the "Movies" tab, screen display "Smart Collection" informations correctly (name, count of items in the collection) and I can "Play Entire Collection" but movies items are not shown. I run Dispatch on a Chromecast Google TV 1080p, I have no problems with "Manual Collection".

Dispatch getting stuck in Watch Next Menu
This never used to happen but unfortunately has been occurring for a month or so now. I launch a TV show from 'Watch Next'. Plex loads up and I watch the show. After I press HOME to return to the main Dispatch screen it returns but I am stuck on the show on the Dispatch 'Watch Next' screen. I cannot maneuver to a different app or movie/tv show. The only way out is to hit the SETUP button and close dispatch and restart it. I hope a solution can be found soon.

Wallpaper does not load
Description I am using Dispatch Version 1.0.173 (build 138 - beta), though this started on the stable version. I have always been able to choose a wallpaper from my Shield's files drive. When I went to change it (selecting an image in the same directory on my NVIDIA Shield so there should be no permission issues), I saw a "saving image" message before the image failed to load, only a message in the middle of my TV screen that said "Failed to load wallpaper: PathNotFoundException". Steps to reproduce the issue Go to Settings Choose Home and Wallpaper. Choose Look and Feel Choose Wallpaper Settings Use File Picker to choose a file in the Media Library. Modal Window: Saving Wallpaper Please Wait Current Result Open last application. display message "Failed to load wallpaper: PathNotFoundException" Expected Result Image chosen with File Picker will be displayed on selection on Home view I have already checked Device Preferences > Storage > Scan for Media Automatically (already enabled) Device Settings > Apps > Dispatch > Permissions > Files and Media (set to allow) I have now upgraded to beta and uninstalled and reinstalled twice, confirming all my permissions in the Android apps menu. Inconsistent Watch Next
Content in the watch next row from streaming apps is inconsistent. Sometimes all watch next content shows up, sometimes it's only plex content. If I wake my TV from sleep the watch next row usually works fine, all content is being shown. If I watch something and go back home dispatch will quickly reload and only plex content will show in the watch next row. The missing watch next content will usually reappear after some time. App peek and media recommendations row work fine for me, the issue only happens with the watch next row.

I can find where to disable the rows with Netflix, Prime, etc. I do not even have these apps installed and dont need them to show.

"I purchased a monthly subscription to test on my TCL C725 with Google TV. I followed all the recommendations in the setup tutorial; however, several promised features are not working. For instance, recommendations from my streaming services, such as Netflix and HBO Max, are not appearing on the home screen. In addition to this, I am experiencing numerous bugs and unbearable freezing, to the point where I have to restart the TV more than once a day. In the graphics settings, I am unable to set the option to "Medium" or "High" because it causes everything to freeze. I would appreciate a solution, please."

I created a managed user account in Plex to use with Dispatch. I called it Dispatch as well. This user was setup to only allow movies and tv shows with the label "familiy-friendly". I use this label to control the level of access to movies and tv shows based on my preference for content rating. Even after choosing this user during setup, the launcher displays the full library of content when browsing recommendations or the Movies and Television sections. This is preventing me to use Dispatch in the family TV as the full library is being displayed (there's some NR, R and TV-MA shows and movies). Once this is fixed, I'll definitely purchase Dispatch. I really like the UI.

Resuming Plex movies from main starts from beginning
When pressing the resume button on plex movies on the main home screen it will start playback from the beginning instead of resuming. When you exit out and press the resume button in the movie detail screen it will resume proprerly. Its only on the main home page. Clicking on the more information will result in the same issue. Instead of going to more information it will start playback from the beginning.

I purchased a lifetime license on April 20. I disabled Google launcher per instructions found online for setting Dispatch as my primary launcher for Onn 4K TV. After the trial ended, I get a sign-in screen telling me I need to sign in because Google launcher is disabled. I do not have a dispatch account, there doesn’t seem to be a way to create one via your website, and it doesn’t recognize my Google account either.
