Dispatch Crashing in Background with HDMI-CEC on Sony Bravia

When turning the TV on through HDMI-CEC, Dispatch seems to be going into an unresponsive state that requires a hard reboot (unplug) in order to reboot.

The TV will boot through HDMI-CEC, but the remote and all UI features are unresponsive. The TV does not recognize input from the Bluetooth remote in any form. Putting (in this case a Switch) into standby mode will result in a black screen, but not the "no signal" of the TV.

This is unique to having Dispatch set as the launcher.

Hello! Can you provide a step by step guide as to how to reproduce this? ie which settings are enabled, and which buttons need to be pressed? As I have both a bravia tv and switch, I'd like to reproduce this exactly if possible. So far, it's not something I've encountered on my end.

Paul Dhaliwal It's a little intermittent -- I'd say I'm seeing the behaviour every 2-3 days. The steps (as I can put them together now) is to turn the TV on through CEC, and then put it back into standby, either by remote (or through Google Home).

Yesterday, the behaviour I've noticed specifically is that the TV appears to turn 'off' when the HDMI device is put into standby, which is not the normal behaviour. That is when the remote and all input is no longer accepted from the TV, but the TV will turn back on through HDMI CEC.

Paul Dhaliwal 5 Days again for the behaviour. Left it for a bit longer, and the TV does eventually become responsive, but with a 30 second delay on inputs. I can get the panel to initialize, but it's a black screen.

Wondering if the background worker has a memory leak?
