Launcher competing with normal interface

I am getting notifications from my TV that I'm low on storage. I try to delete things are re-start, but even though I have dispatch disabled on start up, the built in launcher boots up, and then dispatch launches and tries to take me over there.

I have a HI-Sense Android TV. And right now it's unusable. I've tried the factory reset, but nothing actually resets.

Hey Paul, I've done some more research and determined it's an issue with my TV, it looks like a software bug but actually somehow the main board on the TV is fried and needs to be replaced. Thanks so much for getting back to me, though!

Hi Rachel - I'm not sure I understand the problem as described. However, if you are running low on storage you can try deleting unused apps.

I also don't understand this point:

"even though I have dispatch disabled on start up, the built in launcher boots up"

This is expected behavior. If dispatch is not set to auto start, then the default launcher will be shown when you restart your device. You need to enable auto start options in dispatch and follow the instructions there in order for dispatch to start automatically.

Regarding factory resetting your tv, that's unrelated to dispatch and you should consult the tv manufacturer on how to properly reset your device.
