Select button not working

I am using an Alexa Pro Remote with a Shield TV 2017 and sadly the select button isn't working anywhere while on the launcher.

I have to use the Shield's own remote to make a selection.

All other buttons are working good.

This isn't the case when using its stock Android TV launcher.
