Watch Next not picking up Plex Continue Watching Feed

I've got "Watch Next" selected in the General section of "Personalize Media Feed" and have it sorted to be at the top, but it doesn't display (begins with the next row in General Recommendations".

If I enable the "Watch Next in Home feed" option under Plex, it displays the items in its own row, but it doesn't use the same interface (tiles, background images, etc) as the rest of the rows.

A fix for this was deployed in a recent release. If you're still experiencing this issue, please re-open it and let me know.

Hello! I replied to you on reddit as well. It's definitely strange that only this row is not populating, while the others are. If you're willing to help me troubleshoot, please consider doing the following, as it would be very helpful:

1 - Please enable logging from Settings → Advanced → About → Diagnostics.

2 - Once logging is enabled, let the app run for a while so that it can collect logs. The longer, the better, so maybe 30–60 minutes if possible, or overnight even.

3 - Extract the logs from the same place you enabled the logs. Do not disable logging before extracting them, as that will clear the logs.

If you’re comfortable extracting the database as well, do that too. No sensitive information is contained in there, however, it would allow me to see the contents of your library.

4 - Upload the logs, and db if you extracted it, to google drive or some other upload site and email me the link.

5 - If you don’t know how to extract the zip files from your device, you can email me the email address you used to sign up, and I can enable the ability for your device to send me the zipped logs directly

You can email me at dispatchtvdev@gmail.com

    Thanks!

My installation doesn't show any Plex items in "Watch Next", "App Peek" or it's own row.

I've tried uninstalling the app and setting it up again from scratch, but there's still no Plex content on the home page at all.

Hi - sorry, you’re running into this issue as well. If you can please do the following it will help me track down the issue and find a solution:

1 - Please let me know if an ETA is displayed in the generating metadata message, or if it always says “Still calculating”

2 - Please enable logging from Settings → Advanced → About → Diagnostics.

3 - Once logging is enabled, let the app run for a while so that it can collect logs. The longer, the better, so maybe 30–60 minutes if possible

4 - Extract the logs from the same place you enabled the logs. Do not disable logging before extracting them, as that will clear the logs.

If you’re comfortable extracting the database as well, do that too. No sensitive information is contained in there, however, it would allow me to see the contents of your library.

5 - Upload the logs, and db if you extracted it, to google drive or some other upload site and email me the link.

6 - If you don’t know how to extract the zip files from your device, you can email me the email address you used to sign up, and I can enable the ability for your device to send me the zipped logs directly

You can email me at dispatchtvdev@gmail.com

      Thanks!

Thanks for replying. I went into the app info and cleared all data and cache. After I set it up this time it now correctly displays Plex as expected.

I'm not sure why the reinstall didn't work, but I'm happy this isn't an issue for me now
