App Peek and Refresh All Media Button Do Not Work
My app peek isn't working specifically for Plex only. It just sits on trying to load and does nothing. This is on a Google streamer device. Same device in another room does not do this and loads perfect. Because of this I also realized the refresh all media button isn't doing anything. I tried using it in case it may help app peek but realized it doesn't even refresh my media as nothing new loaded.

Hi, could you add the feature to separate the Television tab in libraries, just like in Plex? I have multiple libraries for television and want to keep them separate. Also, would it be possible to not show all media files under the Movies and TV Shows tabs, but rather to keep them sorted as Plex does?

My list options
Show "my lists", as an option on Home screen for each Favorited provider, instead of recommendations. I feel like Plex is all about letting the USER decide what they want to watch. This would give that power back to the user. Just offer My List as another option to choose in the settings, so those that want the current options still have them.

Experimental video player automatically skip intros/credits
The new player has the Plex skip intros and credits working great but doesnt seem to carry over if you have it set to automatically skip those in Plex settings. Would be fantastic if that could be included.

Fetching Artwork, Logos, Titles in the system’s native language
I understand that translating the entire interface into multiple languages can be a long and complex process. However, a smaller change could already make a huge difference for many users. It would be extremely helpful if the launcher could download movie and TV series titles, posters, and logos in the system’s native language. This would ensure that the most visible elements - titles, artwork, and logos - appear in the user’s language, even if the rest of the interface remains in English. The launcher is already very intuitive, so a full UI translation isn’t essential. Simply adjusting how metadata is fetched - so that titles, posters, and logos match the user’s system language (in my case, Polish)- would significantly improve the overall experience. I’ve been using the launcher for over a year and really enjoy it, but this is the one feature I’m still missing. Is implementing something like this possible?

Youtube keeps asking who's watching and no google home support...
There's a really annoying thing happening where Youtube keeps asking who's watching and there's no way to turn it off.. It shows just my profile and a kids one that I never set up not having kids myself. If you pause a video for a time, and the screensaver comes on, Youtube will ask who's watching when resuming thus closing the video you had on… It's stupid. And lets not forget google home. That is a must considering that most of the people tech savvy enough to change their tv's launcher already have smart home devices. App peek doesn't work with Plex of all things.. My device is a 2025 TCL tv with Android/Google TV

Experimental video player subtitles issues
When playing a tv show episode from the menu (normal routine, open show, play/resume episode) the subtitle gets correctly applied (same one as in plex) but when binge watching one episode after another, when the second episode begins it shows subtitles disabled and no subtitles appear, trying to enable them from the video works but shows no subtitle selected even if you try changing/selecting one. The only work around so far is exiting the episode to the episodes view and press resume, after this subtitles still stay disabled/it says no subtitle is selected but now you can enable and select which subtitle you want and it gets correctly applied

The idea behind the experimental video player is very cool and it works very well, at least I didn't encounter any bugs but what I feel it's missing from the Plex video player are refresh rate switching (sometimes scenes are jarring when panning out without this) and resolution switching, the reason I am using this is because nowadays TV's like Sony or LG have quite better upscaling than even the ai upscaling from Nvidia shield tv so by setting the resolution of the shield automatically at the resolution of the video it makes the tv do the processing (ofc it only applies when the resolution of the video is lower than the resolution of the tv).

So some remotes like the Xiaomi ones have a button that is similar to for example the "netflix button" which opens netflix This button called "apps" in Google tv opens the apps page but in dispatch it currently has no use

Opening the settings overlay on the Nvidia Shield (double press the menu button on the remote) causes the video stream to immediately close. The video stream should continue playing (like SmartTube) or pause (like most other streaming apps). Continued playback is my preference, but I can see how that might be more difficult to implement. Longer-term, if possible, it would be nice if the video player appeared in the recent apps menu on Android versions that support this. That way, we can navigate between video playback in Dispatch and any other app with ease.

On my Nvidia Shield Pro, the remote has dedicated fast-forward and rewind buttons. Third-party remotes also often have these dedicated buttons. It would be great for Dispatch to support these buttons in the integrated video player. Currently, pressing those buttons just shows the controls and metadata overlay. Most ideally, these buttons on the remote would work like a continuous fast-forward or rewind rather than triggering a 30-second fast-forwards with every press (like DVD players or HBO Max). However, if this not technically possible with streams from a plex server, perhaps the way the plex app handles this could be a good solution.

Experimental video player: Support pause from the remote without showing the overlay
The plex app and a few other apps can pause and resume a video without showing the overlay of video controls and metadata. Since some people may pause the video in order to more closely examine objects in a scene, it would be useful to not automatically show the video controls and metadata. A good middle ground could be: Continue to show controls and metadata when pausing via the select/OK/enter button on the remote, but do not show them when pausing via the pause button on a remote.

Currently, you can click the right and left buttons to navigate between the top level and secondary levels in the settings app. However, many of the secondary levels have buttons to go deeper in the settings. Plex "Smart Collection" from "Movies" tab doesn't load movies
When I navigate to a Plex "Smart Collection" from the "Movies" tab, screen display "Smart Collection" informations correctly (name, count of items in the collection) and I can "Play Entire Collection" but movies items are not shown. I run Dispatch on a Chromecast Google TV 1080p, I have no problems with "Manual Collection".

Dispatch getting stuck in Watch Next Menu
This never used to happen but unfortunately has been occurring for a month or so now. I launch a TV show from 'Watch Next'. Plex loads up and I watch the show. After I press HOME to return to the main Dispatch screen it returns but I am stuck on the show on the Dispatch 'Watch Next' screen. I cannot maneuver to a different app or movie/tv show. The only way out is to hit the SETUP button and close dispatch and restart it. I hope a solution can be found soon.
